Taylor Burns

Soprano

Taylor Burns is a soprano, voice teacher and choral conductor based in Winnipeg, MB. Originally from Kingston, ON, Taylor holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Music degree from the University of Manitoba. A passionate choral singer, she currently performs with the Dead of Winter ensemble in Winnipeg and the Canadian Chamber Choir. On top of choral singing, Taylor is also conductor and director of Octavia Women’s choir in Selkirk, MB. Additionally, Taylor performs frequently with her life partner and collaborative pianist Henry Kelsey. Apart from her performing career, Taylor is an adept vocal teacher. She is available for lessons through JKW Studios, Meraki Theatre, and her home studio in Osborne village.
